Downtown Window Decorating Contest

The Strathroy BIA Promotion Committee is looking for downtown businesses to spruce up their windows for this year’s event Turkey Festival! Please decorate your window with a Turkey Festival theme, and our dearest shoppers are the judges!

One participating store will win “The Participation Award” which will be awarded $150.00 towards one of their advertisement invoices, an announcement on MyFM Radio, and photos of your window on the Strathroy BIA website.

The winning store will be chosen by the shoppers, and 3 lucky shoppers will be awarded a $50.00 gift certificate each to shop at a participating downtown store of their choice.

In order to participate, we need downtown businesses to contact either Ghezal or Marion.

Participants must register by June 6, 2011.

Deadline to Decorate Windows – June 10. Ballot boxes, ballots and a poster saying “Vote for our Turkeyfest Window” will be dropped off to participating stores by June 11. Merchants must deliver ballot boxes to A Star is Born or Doug and Marion’s Bike Sales by Tuesday, June 21.

Winners will be announced on MyFM on Thursday, June 23rd by Chris Soares. A BIA email will also be sent out listing winners.
